On the 7th of November 2024, the Board of the Vanuatu Qualifications Authority had granted the approval of Registration to the National University of Vanuatu (NUV), the Vanuatu very own University with condition. This means that the National University of Vanuatu can now operate legally as a Registered Provider in Vanuatu for the duration of 5 years as of the date of approval.

The Vanuatu Qualifications Authority (VQA) Board had approved the renewal of registration for Talua Theological Training Institute (TTTI) for a period of five years, beginning from 30th September 2024 to 30th September 2029. Such approval is to ensure Talua Theological Training Institute is able to operate again as a registered provider to provide

On the 26th of August 2024, the Vanuatu Qualifications Authority (VQA) board granted the renewal of registration for Saint Michel Catholic Technical College for a period of five years. Such approval is to ensure Saint Michel Technical College is able to operate again as a registered provider to provide Post-School Education and Training Services.

The institution has previously registered with VQA from the 5th of November 2015 to the 5th of November 2020. After the registration period lapsed, VQA then conducted an external review from 10th to 11th of May 2021 and assigned a quality status of poor.
