Post-Registration Monitoring is an important quality assurance activity conducted during the early stages of a provider's registration. It enables both the provider and the Vanuatu Qualifications Authority (VQA) to evaluate how effectively the provider is implementing its Quality Management System, meeting registration requirements, and delivering education and training services in accordance with the Vanuatu Quality Assurance Framework (VQAF).

Internal Post-Registration Monitoring allows providers to assess their own policies, procedures, and operational practices, identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and any risks that may affect compliance or quality outcomes. External Post-Registration Monitoring is undertaken by VQA to validate these findings, provide guidance where necessary, and ensure that established quality standards and registration conditions are being maintained.

The monitoring process supports continuous improvement by encouraging providers to develop strong quality assurance practices from the outset of their registration period. It also helps ensure that learners, employers, industry stakeholders, and the wider community can have confidence in the quality and integrity of education and training services delivered by registered providers.
